DataHero has two types of map charts:
Region Map - This shades or fills the corresponding region (typically countries, but can be states) with a color shaded to the associated value.
Marker Map - This adds circles at specified locations on the geochart and varies the size based on the associated value. Zip codes are shown as markers with the centroid on the zip code area.
You can zoom in either the region map or marker map by clicking on the area you'd like to explore. This is important as your zoom level can change the interpretation of how your data is displayed. For example, 'CA' will be shown as Canada when in the world view, but California in the US view.
